Inscription on the back reads: "Ed Wingfield, Strand Lamthian and Bill Stephens and Tippy Your father carried the mail from Camp Verde to Prescott in 1893 or 1894-I don't remember-we only got the mail once a week. It took 2 ½ days to go in and 2 ½ to come back he stopped at the old ash creek State Station and delivered mail. This is a good picture of them all and is 63 or 4 years old. Keep them all-put them all in a frame-your father is on this side From mother Dec-1960"
