Among the many ways we support the community is by hosting Breakfasts with History. In this lecture series, knowledgeable speakers provide insight into the varied and interesting history of life in the Santa Cruz River Valley.
In the spring, the society celebrates with an Annual Picnic at a historic site. Also, periodically we sponsor field trips to archaeological and historical sites.

Celebrate the Holidays with the Tubac Historical Society on December 14, 2017, for breakfast and a docent-led Tour of the Historic Hacienda de La Canoa Ranch in Green Valley. The event is limited to 50 guests so please R.S.V.P. as soon as possible. The cost for breakfast and tour is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. The breakfast will be catered by The Tubac Market and will include scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, pastries, coffee, and juice. Breakfast will be served from 8:30– 9:30. We will have two tour groups of 25. The tour takes about 90 minutes. We suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes and a sun hat.
This wonderful historic site will be festooned in holiday splendor. What an appropriate way to celebrate our history! Hope you can join us!
